Vinod Kumar

SQL Server Express Edition, a lightweight version of SQL Server 2005 (MSDE’s next version to be short :)) designed for building simple dynamic applications. It includes all the rich functionality included in the SQL Server 2005 database engine such as stored procedures, views, triggers, cursors, CLR support, and XML support. With Yukon Beta 2 almost round the corner this is the first preview for people to work with some of the functionality.

    Hi Anil,

The SQL Server Management studio will be a separate licence if you were to use it with Express edition. And this is NOT a part of the Express Install. But you can use the SQL Computer Manager for administering and working with SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.
