Personally, I am a big fan of the Nokia Lumia 800: Windows Phone that I have. There are so many small things that make it a charm to have. I just love some of the apps like Nokia City Lens, Nokia Drive, Me Tile (Social), PhotoSynth, Camera Extras etc. This list can keep on going. yes, I do understand that Windows Phone 8 is round the corner and there are much more exciting stuff lined up: Multi-Core, HD Display, MicroSD, NFC, Skype, Security Enhancements and many more.
Fine, now to the Tip. If you accidentally unpinned the “Me Tile” from your Windows Phone, how can we get it back? This is something I had encountered couple of days back and found this interesting that there is no way you can do it from the App’s window. So here are the steps to get it back :). Simple once you do it.
- Launch the People Hub. (via the Live Tile on the Start screen or via the list of apps to the right of the Live Tiles)
- Under the "All" tab, you should see a list of your contacts as well as your mug shot
- Tap your mug shot to drill down to your Me card, at which point, you will see a pin icon located in the bottom toolbar.
- That button will restore your “Me Live Tile” (this is not visible if you already have it pinned)
The more I play around with the phone, the more interesting stuffs I find. Hope this will be useful for those searching for this option.
PS: This option works on all the WP devices if you unpinned the “Me Tile”
