Picture Post: Groups of Sharing October 23rd, 2012

A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog – Jack London

We all read quite a bit over the internet, read tons of books, hear to million videos, meet amazing people – there is no limit to the inspiration we get from people around us. I know all of us want to share – there are many who ask me : “What should I share, how do I get motivated, will it be repeat of what is around etc”.

I know what I have given you. I do not know what you have received – Antonio Porchia

If you don’t have a start, you have a problem. Sharing is important, so snap out of the inertia that is pulling you back and get started.

As we share, I identified 3 sets of groups:

  1. Group A (sharers): Who have their own way to simplify the concepts they learn.
  2. Group B (interpreters): Who put their new perspective to how the concepts exist already.
  3. Group C (creators): Who want to be creative always and want to share only what is new.

I personally see merit in all the 3 groups. We need all of them. If you want to be in Group C then you are always going to be thinking what to share and will always be in pursuit ultimately not share anything.

Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality – Dalai Lama XIV

UPDATE: Gave name to the groups as suggested by @waatho. Perfect fit for definition here.
